It is a great privilege to recommend to you John White and his ministry, Golf for Goodness Sake. We have partnered with John the last two years to host an annual golf tournament fundraiser. Prior to engaging Golf for Goodness Sake, we had tried fundraising banquets, grants from foundations, newsletters asking for contributions from partners---essentially we tried it all. All of our efforts came to little, and we were having a very difficult time funding our work to train pastors in Africa. Realizing we had to begin to either raise more money or abandon much of the vision God has put in our hearts, we tried a golf tournament led by John and his ministry. The first tournament we hosted went great! We raised $40,000—far in excess of any other fundraiser we had ever tried. This year we raised even more, $46,000 with only 43 golfers. I have played in charity golf tournaments before, but John’s approach is very different. I won’t try to describe his methodology, but I will say it is a simple, easy to implement, and a very effective strategy that produces amazing results. And it can be accomplished even with only a few golfers. So, it is a strategy that works no matter how big or small your ministry is. I highly recommend you contact John White at Golf for Goodness Sake and let him help you achieve your vision. |

In three years, FCA Middle Tennessee has seen its golf challenge tournaments grow from $29,000 to $32,000 to $87,000. This has been accomplished with just 26 fund raisers the first two years and 48 fund raisers in 2003. This past year, our golf fund raisers sent out over 2000 brochures and received pledges from 625 sponsors. Most significantly for our local FCA Chapter, one of the oldest in the country, is that nearly one third of these sponsors are first time donors to our local FCA ministry. |

Golf, For Goodness Sake provided the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center an opportunity to take our fundraising to a whole new level. The golf challenge is a vehicle to raise money (over $350,000 in five annual events), offers an opportunity to increase public awareness of our mission regarding children who are the victims of child abuse, and has expanded our support base within our community. Besides, it is fun! Thanks, John, for bringing this idea to us!

John White and the team at Golf, For Goodness Sake are outstanding. They helped make our first golf challenge one of the most successful fundraising events we have ever had. We raised over $50,000 and we were pleasantly surprised at how easy Golf, For Goodness Sake made our job in organizing the event. Everyone had a terrific time and we were able to develop relationships with over 600 new people through this one event. We will definitely do other golf events, and we will definitely use Golf, For Goodness Sake!

John White’s organization, Golf, For Goodness Sake, put together an outstanding fundraising event for Right From The Heart Ministries. The day was not only profitable in providing funds for our ministry of reaching and discipling people for Christ, but well organized and run. All who participated enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend Golf, For Goodness Sake.

The Golf, For Goodness Sake team gave our organization the tracks to run on that we needed through their excellent organization and education of our first annual golf marathon. By using Golf, For Goodness Sake and their golf marathon concept, the level of support and commitment exhibited for this fundraiser was tremendous. |
